HEB ISD Operation Back to School

HEB ISD Operation Back to School is a coalition of churches, social services, school and civic agencies collaborating with the "for-profit community" to assist elementary children in starting the school year off right.

Our goal is to supply up to 6,700 children, grades Pre-K-6, a new backpack and school supplies! Statistics show that over 56% of HEB ISD elementary students come from homes that are classified "economically challenged". The district has identified 876 children as "homeless."

Investing in the education of those at or below the poverty level helps improve the quality of life for our community.
